Let me introduce myself...
As an actor, I am deeply committed to authenticity and nuance, bringing depth and vulnerability to every role. Whether I am working with classical texts or contemporary, new pieces, I am always focused on telling the story in the most compelling way possible. In addition to my acting work, I have also worked in theatre education, dramaturgy, as an assistant director, dialect coach, and more, giving me a unique perspective on the art and craft of theatre. Wondering what I'm up to now?
I am currently playing Petra in An Enemy of the People with Janus Theatre in Elgin! Ibsen is one of my favorite playwrights, so it's been a joy to work with this complex play and feisty character.
Speaking of incredible playwrights, I'm still recovering from the high of playing Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire with MadKap Theatre. It was truly a dream role, with gorgeous Tennessee Williams text and such a fantastic cast. Check out the photos and some of my thoughts on insta!
As for what's next? For now just a well-needed rest! After three seasons working at the Utah Shakespeare Festival as an External Understudy, Seminar Grove Manager, & education/dramaturgy assistant, I'm taking a break to have a true Chicago summer! There are some fun projects in the works so stay tuned...
